About Me

I am an electronics enthusiast, hobbyist, and all-around technology fan. I have a bachelors in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech with a concentration in power electronics. One day I hope to return to school and earn my masters degree, but for now I try to learn as much about electrical theory and design as I can.

Most of my work has been related to power supplies and power conversion. In 2010, I worked with members of Virginia Tech's Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES) to design and build a 25W, 5A half-bridge converter as a senior design project. I have also designed and coded data acquisition systems for graduate researchers in VT's Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

While power electronics is my first love, electrical engineering is far too vast and interesting to get bogged down in one specialty. My hope is that this blog will be a learning experience for myself and anyone else with a passion for circuits and technology.
